Hmm...

Not much that sets this apart from other games. It takes too long for you to come back after a failure, and on level 9 there was a glitch and my character didn't come back. Level 8 was just plain annoying, by the way. It's not bad, but it needs more work.

AwokerR responds:

Well, I'm going to check it.

Needs improvement...

- Not "keysounded". (To those who don't know what that means: You aren't actually playing the music by hitting the keys.)

- The sync could use work.

- The space key isn't used enough.

- The couple of songs weren't that great.

- Somewhat easy for experienced rhythm game players.

3/5, 5/10. Keep working on it.

XceeD responds:

Since you said it's easy for experienced rhythm game players, I'm going to invite you to the beta of the new version :D!

What can I say?

There isn't much new, the menu layout is a bit simple, there are annoying sound glitches, it's hard to start without losing a life instantly (The player should launch the ball), and the paddle movement is off-center in Survival. Plus, can anything be done about the glitch where the ball sticks to the paddle? Maybe have the boss battles in the main game, more block types, more creative layouts, etc.? Try resubmitting after a bit more work, especially with the game dealing the ball to you. I can't get past level 2 because of it!

Forgot to mention... the paddle's a bit too slow, and the ball gets caught in endless loops. I'd like to see moving blocks in Breakout...

Well, back to trying to beat level 2 without getting caught in a loop and having to sacrifice a life and lose the rest.

thanks i will keep on mind

Good.

It's pretty decent overall. My only major complaint is that the ship is huge compared to most other shooters. It makes the game feel cramped, unlike games like Raiden, where it feels roomy and is still challenging. I like it though.

CLOUND responds:

The Ship are large but the hit-miss point are small (cockpit area)

Original and a great game...

... but in my opinion, it gets too hard too fast. I don't see myself beating even level 6 any time soon! It's like the Ultimate Labyrinth 2 Editor level I made with arrows constantly pushing you near lava and having to slip between two squares of lava in order to get pushed into another area with more lava to get pushed into. It's the kind of thing that takes days for the average player to get right. Maybe include more levels that are somewhat easier, or make an editor so that people can make levels that fit their skill level. The levels weren't bad, though. Just not something the average person can do easily.

Ab9003 responds:

Thanks for your review, in order to retain the arcade style the game has a bit of a challenge to it. The game will never stop you from continuing however so you can always give it another try :).

Great mouse avoider!

Pretty good! Clever mazes! However, you can right click to win, and if you move fast, you can skip right over the exit. Also, are you SUPPOSED to be able to slip between the camera and the beam? Anyway, besides that, the game was fun and challenging enough to keep me interested... though I had to right click for a couple because I kept going too fast and skipping over the exit. >_< 5/5, Big pwitty gol' numbah up dere (Hee hee), favorite.

Logico responds:

thanks for your review.
I made it possible to slip between the camera and the beam, because it bought me a pretty good effect and besides, cameras cannot see below themselves unless they look down (:

Is it broken?!

I couldn't even pick up the ball. It just fell and started vibrating. Plus, the "End" button is too hard to click and you misspelled "Newgrounds".

technoflash responds:

i have noticed mispelling and the game aint broken.

Some improvements.

-The graphics are better, but they don't loop on all sides. You can see where the squares go together.

-Why was dragging removed?

-Are the portals going to be fixed before the final release? They don't always work...

-Is there going to be more control over which portals lead where?

-Will it be easier to move off of an endless loop of arrows? As in, you don't have to move away in a specific fraction of a second?

Well, anyway, it's pretty fun with the new editor, although there should be a few fixes. I'm making a truly evil level at the moment. Mostly arrows and well timed movements. >:)

Zoranan responds:

The Lava is the only thing that doesn't EXACTLY loop on all sides. workin on it...

as for the lag, don't go click happy, click at a normal pace, not continual clicking.

just click every time you want to place a tile.

Simple and fun.

A great way to kill time! There's a glitch though. If you grab a strawberry and die at the same time, you start a new round with an extra strawberry. 5/5, 9/10, favorite.

EstevanGalvez responds:

I had a feeling that would be able to happen. I'll fix it.

EDIT: It should be fixed now.

Unplayable.

It looked promising, the graphics were great... by why is there a 5 second delay between the key press and the shot? It makes it too hard to play.

EnglishManInFrance responds:

The game normally runs at between 17 and 22 fps (frames per second) on average,I don't know why it's hitting a slow speed. Thanks

I want to make music and flash animations, but I can't make them the way they are in my head, and I can't settle for less. Oh, and I'm awesome. :P
